Dubrovnik Summer Festival is the oldest cultural festival in Croatia. It was founded in 1950s and it takes place in the renaissance and baroque town of Dubrovnik. This year the festival lasts from July 10th until August 25th. In that period of time there can be seen numerous theatrical, musical and dancing events in the streets and squares of the town.
The festival always hosts composers, soloists and orchestras from all around the world. The city will turn into a stage where more than 2000 artists will perform in a dozen locations.
This year the audience will have the opportunity to enjoy in the music of a jazz singer Gregory Porter and the pianist Andrew Tyson or Croatian singer Arsen Dedić. Famous folklore ensembles Lado and Linđo are also guests here and many others.
