Church of St. Chrysogonus
The facade is simple. In the lower part there are no decorations other than the main portal. Inside the church decorated with frescoes of Byzantine-Romanesque characteristic. The sanctuary is a monumental main altar, built around 1701 years in which the 1717 add four high-quality white marble statue representing the protectors of Zadar. The work of the Venetian sculptor Alavise Tagliapiete. The bell tower was built in the late 15th century, but never completed.The most beautiful part of the exterior facade decoration, apse.
