Đakovo Cathedral
Đakovo Cathedral if also known as the Cathedral of St. Peter. It is a Roman Catholic cathedral in Đakovo, Croatia. Đakovo Cathedral is the biggest sacral newly built building of Croatian historicism. The Cathedral was built by Austrian architects in 1866 until 1882 under Josip Juraj Strossmayer. The Cathedral is famous for its fresco paintings which depict the Saint Peter's life.

Majestic redbrick
Đakovo Cathedral is the most important sacral building not only in Đakovo but also throughout the whole region of Slavonia. This majestic redbrick which towers above the city is a stunning first sight as you arrive into town. Amazing!

The most important sacral object of Đakovo
The St. Peter and St. Paul's Cathedral in Đakovo is the town's most famous landmark and the most important sacral object. The cathedral is really stunning from the outside and inside. Definitely worth a visit!
