Beautiful old castle

Recently renovated castle is one of Ilok's turist atractions..located in the heart of Ilok fortress, just next to the old vine cellars. Combining visit with vine cellers is a must! I didn't got the chance to visit museum on the inside. Hope to see it next time.

Nice story of past times

This is most preserved medieval castle in the 100 km radius for sure and well worth to visit it. Right in the centre of Ilok fortress overlooking the Danube. Huge, three storey main building with beautiful story. After many years of careful restoration works it is open for public and the admission is really cheap. There are many things to see. Museum of town Ilok is in the castle with its archeological, medieval, ethno section as well as gallery. Next to the castle is the famous and well known Ilok wine cellars. It is an absolute must when You are in this region.
