St. Mark's Cathedral (Korčula)

St. Mark's Cathedral
St. Mark's Cathedral is the most attractive Gothic and Renaissance building in the old town of Korčula. It was built by local stonemasons in the 14th, 15th and 16th century with the support of Italian masters. Most famous among them was stone mason Marko Andijić who completed cathedral's tower and cupola (1481) as well as elegant ciborium above main altar
