Wonderful place to be

Nature, lovely castle, great lake. Perfect place for a nice walk and photos. The last half star could be given if the inside of the castle could be bit more attractive and for this ugly fast food down the castle, with those flashy ugly pedalos. It ruined the view during touristic period, to make a nice picture.

Beautiful castle

Beautiful castle in Croatia, well preserved and well kept. It originates from the Burg - a defense tower built on the hill to control the borders and roads back in 13th century. Renovated a few times, enlarged by its owner family Draskovic who lived there from 17th century till the end of the World War II. Nowadays it still keeps the weapon collection, music salon with an old piano, restored and well presented rooms that shows the cultural heritage of its owners and the high society of those times. Daily opened from 9 till 18:00. At the bottom of the hill there is a beautiful park and a lake.

Great place to learn about local history which goes back centuries. Beautiful scenery and views of the area and a wonderful little bar/tavern right on the lake below the castle. Reasonable admission as well.
