Čazma is one of the oldest cities in Croatia. It was mentioned in 1094, when the Hungarian king Ladislav gave Čazma as a possession to the bishop of Zagreb. On the foundations of a turbulent and brilliant history, Čazma evolved into the cultural, economic and tourist centre of the Moslavina microregion. Famous for intact natural surroundings and eco-agriculture, it is a heaven for recreation lovers, hunters and fishermen or simply those who appreciate natural beauties. The town is rich in cultural heritage and the people there cherish and foster old customs.
