Donji Miholjac
Donji Miholjac is a town in the Slavonia region of Croatia, on the river Drava and it borders with Hungary. Two old castles previously owned by nobility and parks are giving this town on the Drava a romantic appearance, rarely encountered in lowland Slavonia. Close to the town is a popular excursion site for the inhabitants of Donji Miholjac - Stara Drava (the Old Drava). Hunting and fishing are top activities out there. If you want to see some rare bird species, you can go to the protected bird reserve Podpanj, with 106 bird species, including some twenty species endangered in Europe.
