Erdut

Erdut is a village in eastern Croatia, located some 37 km east of the major city of Osijek, lying on the border with neighbouring Serbia. Erdut is the favourite destination for the people of Osijek and Vukovar because of the vineyards and gentle hilly countryside above the Danube. This village is also known for large wooden barrels full of wine. One of them was made 150 years ago from ancient oak and entered into the Guinness Book of Records with a capacity of 75,000 litres.
