Grubišno polje

This very beautiful area in Bilogorje is made up of preserved meadows beside the river Ilova, and is rich in oak and beech forests. It stands out because of the varied animal and plant life, and the many rare and protected species such as the white tailed eagle, and the white and black storks.
The Bara excursion area, the river Ilova, five sporting fisheries and a rich Bilogorje forest full of small and large game invite tourists, nature lovers, fishermen and hunters for a relaxing walk. The Lovrakov centre, not far from Grubišno Polje, is an interesting educational centre for visitors. The recently renovated hotel Bilogora offers comfortable accommodation, as well as good food from the Bilogorje region.
