Beautiful Historic town
With geographical position Fortress of Knin was the most powerful fort in all Dalmatia. It was the capital city of Croatian kings, governors, bishops.. On the entrance in fortress there is door of stone built in baroque style. It was built betweeen the middle of the tenth and the thirteenth century (and according to some other historical sources fortress was built after the second half of the 9th century but it's mentioned after the 10th century).
