Ližnjan

Ližnjan
Ližnjan is a small fishing and agricultural village only few kilometres away from some of Croatia's main tourist destinations - Pula, Medulin. It is famous for its 28 km long coastline where there are a series of natural rocky beaches. The village has several shops and restaurants, and you can find accommodation from one of the private renters. Its rich history is visible in the remains of a Roman settlement in the village of Vizače in the municipality Ližnjan, the Church of Majka Božja od Kuj [Our Lady from Kuj] that has early Christian mosaics in it and Nezakcij, an archaeological park that has remains in it from ancient times and is the largest and oldest locality in Istria. If you are looking for a pleasant and peaceful holiday, yet want to be close to the major tourist destinations, then Ližnjan is the right choice.
