Mali Lošinj

Mali Lošinj
Mali Lošinj is the largest town on the island and the Adriatic islands, and with 7 000 inhabitants the biggest island town in the Adriatic. It is a significant nautical port because it is located on a sea faring route between Istria and Dalmatia, and is one of the main tourist and maritime centres in the Croatian Adriatic. The favorable climatic conditions, the construction of hotels and resorts, foresting and maintenance of beaches have led to an intensive development of tourism. The very clean and aromatic air has healing effects on the respiratory system, so visitors like to stay here throughout the year. The town lies mostly on the eastern, sunny side of the island. In the islands fragrant gardens, visitors can learn about the rich flora of the island. One of the most beautiful, most sunny and cleanest beaches in Mali Losinj is Sunčana uvala, which has a pine wood beside it where you can find hotels, and beautiful walking and jogging trails. Lošinj archipelago is famous for its dolphins who like to live here, and you can even "adopt” one.

We hope to come again some day

We have spent a great holiday in one of the most picturesque places of Croatia - Mali Losinj - with its crystal clear sea, cosy little houses, centuries-old pine woods and fabulous healing air. Mali Losinj is a lovely town close to many beautiful beaches. We hope to come again some day!

The most beautiful sea town

Mali Losinj is the most beautiful sea town I've ever been to and I can recommend it to anyone. Beautiful sea and nature. The beaches are very nice, the water is crystal clear and the entire area is well preserved.
