Very nice city
This city as all (history, drava, nice walks to do along them, restaurants, nice markets..) The missing star is one more time about the garbages you can find all around.
A lovely city
Osijek is a lovely city. People usually think of Dubrovnik and the Dalmatian Coast when they think of Croatia as a holiday destination, but the Osijek area is also very interesting. Its a beautiful historical area. And the city itself, with the majestic River Drava, is lovely. I recommend a visit to Osijek and I recommend the Hotel Central for a stay right in the very centre of this charming city.
A warm town Osijek
I visited Croatia in June. The first town I visited was Zagreb. After the cool experience I had in Zagreb it was time to continue my vacation in Slavonia. Osijek to be exact. Although a lot smaller than Zagreb, the town made a very warm impression on me. Especially the people who were relaxed and welcoming. The old part of the town Tvrdja had lots of night clubs and bars which I enjoyed very much. All in all it was a great vacation. The prices of the accommodation were good, the food was very tasty and eastern Europeans were kind and friendly.
My favourite place in Osijek
Osijek is a beautiful town in Croatia. Our favourite part was an absolutely stunning cathedral and by far the best focal point of Osijek. It's got gorgeous stained glass on the inside. A must see when in Osijek!
Interesting city
Osijek is a city with an interesting history. I visited the SS Peter and Paul cathedral. This is an absolutely stunning cathedral and is by far the best focal point of Osijek. It's got gorgeous stained glass on the inside. Lovely!
