Pakoštane

The picturesque area of Pakoštane, which has an indented coastline with many coves, beaches and little islands that are only a step away from its waterfront, and to which it is possible swim, deserves the title “Croatia in the miniature”. Only 2 kilometres from here you can enjoy the largest lake in Croatia and the nature park – Vransko jezero (Vrana lake). Aside from the natural blessings, the area is rich in cultural heritage from ancient antique and medieval times. Pakoštane is a tourist town with many gravel beaches and pine woods.
