Silba (island)

Silba is an island in the Zadar archipelago, which in many ways is unique. On the island, for example, there are no cars or motorbikes, and bicycles are a true rarity. The Island is ruled by peace and quiet which in contact with virgin nature, allow visitors to fully rest and relaxation. The only permissible means of transport, besides the occasional bicycle and postman’s moped are the hand pulled trolleys on two wheels and tractors with trailers. Locals and visitors use them to supply and transport goods on the island. There are no hotels on Silba, but pleasant accommodation can be found in the private homes.
