Susak (island)

Susak is a small island on the northern Adriatic coast of Croatia. The ancient winds deposited thick layers of fine yellowish sand onto the limestone plate. Susak has preserved its archaic speech (protected as a part of the cultural heritage) and the specific customs and colourful costumes. The island is connected by a regular daily shipping line with Mali Lošinj and by catamaran with Rijeka
