Svetvinčenat
Svetvinčenat is a small Istrian town in the interior of Istria. In recent decades it has become famous for being a stage of numerous cultural events. In the summer months the medieval castle Morisin-Grimani offers a program as a part of the Istraetnojazz Festival, and on the nearby main town square there is the International Festival of Dance and non-verbal theatre. In September, old crafts and new wines (Festival of New Wine) are presented, and throughout the year Svetvinčenat hosts frequent exhibitions, concerts and events.

Worth a stop
This little village and church square is worth a stop. Take a day to cruise around the tucked away villages of Istria and do not miss a little stop in here to take in the relaxed Mediterranean squares and the old cistern and castle. I didn't go inside, but it was so charming that a little stroll around the church square and the neighboring castle square and soccer field was all I needed to catch the air of this snoozy little village.
