Summer on Stross (Zagreb)

The Summer at Stross Festival or “Strossmartre” takes place beneath Lotršćak Tower, at the Strossmayer Promenade, underneath the branches of wild chestnut trees. Apart from the citizens of Zagreb, it always attracts numerous tourists for whom the Upper Town is one of the preferred destinations for entertainment and fun times. The events are always crowded because the entire Upper Town is transformed into a large stage featuring diverse concerts and theatre performances, evening sightseeing tours, open-air film screenings, various happenings in the courtyards of Zagreb’s palaces, family villas, etc.
