Gornja Vala Beach (Gradac)

Gornja Vala in the town of Gradac is one of the most famous shingle beaches of the Makarska Riviera and one of the largest beaches on the Adriatic. It is 5 kilometres long, on a slope, surrounded by olive trees and pine forests. It creates an incomparable holiday by the sea with a view of the Biokovo mountains. Due to being sheltered from the wind, Gornja Vala is often a good anchoring place for small boats. A restaurant and a cafe on the beach offer welcome refreshment.
