Škripavac is an autochthonous full fat soft cheese. It is traditionally produced on many rural households of Lika and Kordun for ages. For production is used milked and strained milk, which is usually spread immediately after milking or a shorter maturation of milk on room temperature. Because of its typical rubbery firmness, cheese squeaks during consummation.
