Zagrebački Odrezak (Zagreb Steak)
Zagrebački odrezak (also called Steak a la Zagreb) is a popular main course dish in Croatian cuisine, originating from Zagreb. This appetizing dish is prepared with thin slices of veal being stuffed with ham and cheese, then rolled up or folded, put in flour, then egg, breadcrumbs and then sautéed on both sides until golden brown color. Zagrebački odrezak is usually served with different steamed vegetables, fresh salads or baked fries.
